A 57-year-old man from Mosta died this morning following a traffic accident in Vjal il Qalbiena Mostin.The incident occurred at around 7am when a school van, a Ford Transit driven by a 65-year-old man from Ħad Dingli, collided with a KTM motorcycle being ridden by the victim. A medical team provided immediate assistance and the motorcyclist was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, where he was certified dead shortly afterwards.Two minors who were inside the school van were not injured. The driver was taken to the nearest health centre as he was suffering from shock.Magistrate Monica Borg Galea has been informed of the case and appointed an inquiry.Police investigations are ongoing•
