I used to help out when a popular blogger hosted a Christmas gift event every year for people having a tough time. Then I started noticing how people who used to have two kids suddenly had six. Or how they were twenty-something’s with teenagers who just happened to wear the same size as mom or dad. There were also people who invented multiple accounts, using the addresses of friends or relatives, but no one more so than a Texas woman named Christina—seven accounts, each with 4-8 kids. There are some genuine people out there who need a boost, and it feels so good to be on the side that can help, but people really need to do their homework.
