Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy left for New Delhi to participate in the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting scheduled to be held on Saturday under the chairmanship of AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge.The CWC meeting is assumes significance due to the Central government’s decision to rename the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGA) as Vikshit Bharat – G Ram G and raising the State’s contribution to 40% from 10% to the scheme.The CM will explain how the scheme will burden the State governments financially.
