Delhi woke up to a cold and foggy morning on Monday as air quality deteriorated further, with the city’s Air Quality Index (AQI) touching 402 at 8 am, placing it in the ‘severe’ category, according to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). The worsening pollution has also begun impacting daily life and professional decisions. Rajkumar Bafna, President of Finance at a private firm, resigned from his position, citing health concerns linked to Delhi’s pollution levels.
