A total of nine Telangana districts recorded temperatures of 10 or below between December 27 and 28, said data from Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS). Sirpur in Kumaram Bheem Asifabad district recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 7.1°CThis was followed by 7.5°C in Kohir (Sangareddy), 8.3°C in Bheempoor (Adilabad), 8.8°C in Moinabad (Rangareddy), 9.4°C in Gandhari (Kamareddy), 9.6°C in Yeldurthy (Medak) and Pembi (Nirmal), 9.8°C in Mominpet (Vikarabad) and 10°C in Saloora (Nizamabad).The remaining 24 districts recorded temperatures ranging between 10°C and 14°C. In urban locations, Uppal in Medchal Malkajgiri recorded a minimum temperature of 10.8°C and Tirumalagiri in Hyderabad recorded 11.5°C.Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in its latest bulletin said that the minimum temperatures in Telangana are likely to be below normal by 2°C to 3°C, at isolated locations during the next two days.Hyderabad and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see partly cloudy sky. “Mist or hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during morning or night hours.
