This is the most extended price move among the three precious metals: gold, silver, and platinum. With price moving like this, we cannot predict with certainty — we can only observe that the market is already very overextended. History proves that some commodities and equities can continue moving higher, extending even toward the Fibonacci projection of 4.236. POTENTIAL TOP IDENTIFICATION A downward fractal on the daily chart may be useful for predicting a top. A higher high followed by a lower high and lower low is usually clear enough to signal a high probability of a top on the weekly chart.
