A new law, the VB-G RAM G Act, has been passed to tackle farm labour shortages during peak seasons. This legislation replaces the MGNREGA. It aims to balance farmer and labourer welfare, ensuring farm work is covered. Labourers will receive 125 days of work annually. The government expects this to boost incomes for both farmers and labourers.
