Two Bloomfield families get home improvement support from Men on Mission

Two families in Bloomfield Village, Corentyne, Berbice, are experiencing a transformation of their homes thanks to the Men on Mission (MOM) initiative.On Tuesday, Minister of Agriculture Hon. Zulfikar Mustapha officially handed over new houses to 52-year-old Savibree Moteelall, who has a disability, and 34-year-old Nalini Bissessar.Minister Mustapha alongside Tony Ameerally and Aubrey David, who are members of the MOM team, helped construct the homes.He highlighted the initiative’s ongoing commitment to assisting many families across the nation, particularly vulnerable individuals.He emphasised, “These families will now enjoy better facilities, a place where they can be more comfortable. We will continue to see what help we can give them in the future.”Moteelall, who previously resided alone in a one-bedroom wooden house, expressed her gratitude regarding the positive changes brought by the new construction.“Me glad for the help.
