At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) every year, Samsung unveils its new range of soundbars, speakers, and TVs. One week ahead of the CES 2026 expo, the company has announced its new soundbar and speaker lineup for the year 2026.Samsung hasn't revealed the launch timeframe or prices of its new speakers yet. We expect more information during CES 2026 that is happening from January 6-9 in Las Vegas, USA.Samsung's 2026 soundbars have more balanced and smoother audioSamsung's flagship soundbar for 2026 is the HW-Q990H. It is the company's most immersive and powerful soundbar yet. Its 11.1.4-channel audio system features a 7.0.2-channel soundbar, two 2.0.1 satellite rear speakers, and a compact wireless subwoofer with two 8-inch drivers.Its subwoofer offers powerful bass despite its compact and space-efficient design. The combination of up-firing speakers and Samsung's AI algorithms expand the sound field to offer audio that is typically associated with professional home theatre setups.Samsung is also bringing a new model to its soundbar lineup this year: HW-QS90H. This ‘All-In-One Soundbar' model has a 7.1.2-channel soundbar with nine wide-range speakers and a built-in ‘Quad-Bass Woofer' system. It doesn't have a separate subwoofer, but Samsung says the soundbar still delivers deep bass.Its Convertible Fit design, featuring a built-in gyro sensor, allows the soundbar to be mounted on the wall or placed on the tabletop. Depending on the placement, the soundbar automatically tunes its channel distribution.Details about other soundbars in the new lineup will be revealed at CES 2026.New Q-Symphony system and SmartThings app bring better audio and easier controls The South Korean firm says its new soundbar and speaker lineup is designed to be even more adaptive to a wide range of spaces in a home. The new version of Q-Symphony now supports connecting up to five sound devices to a Samsung TV. The system then automatically analyzes the room layout and device placement to optimize channel distribution in such a way that dialogs are clearer and surround sound is more detailed.The SmartThings app allows you to control sound settings, group audio playback, and access music streaming services like Spotify.
