Right, but it’s not a landlord‘s responsibility to look after a tenant’s personal financing and accommodation. People sell properties for huge number of different reasons, maybe they are sick or have to move closer to a family member or need to sell to use the money for something else. My point is, being like oh the landlord knows we could be homeless is basically the same as the OP being angry they didn’t get a free month of rent
