Hey for Christmas Day, I’ll have a couple of hours. I just can’t let it go. I can’t.“Nothing’s gonna change unless you do something about it. So taking time off and doing nothing that tells me nothing’s gonna happen. That’s just my mindset.“It might not be the right thing. It might be the right thing, but I don’t know. I know I’m playing a world champion and I’ve got to bring my game.“There’s no two ways about it, but now I’m in the competition. That’d be crazy.“The beauty of this tournament, I’m a big fan of set play, I think it’s a massive leveller.“It’s something that you can have a complete set off and then come back, recompose yourself and then really go at them.“Who knows? I’m not going to say I’m definitely going to go and win it but I feel good enough that I can have a really deep run.”Cross is going well at Ally PallyGettyTalk about itRob Cross has called upon any men struggling with their mental health to speak out this Christmas.Cross has admitted he may have had more darting success had he looked for more support earlier in his career. But he is feeling much better mentally now and that’s showing at the oche following his second round win over Ian White.Cross told talkSPORT: “I’m a big sufferer and I’m not much of a talker about it.“What the average man does, they go ‘yeah, I’m going to be all right, we’re going to do this’.“Anyone out there who’s having problems, they should talk because we need to talk. I still can’t talk in the interviews about it much, I would say that, but, life’s good.“I have a healthy family, I have healthy everything and I think sometimes as a player, if I would have had a healthier head, I would have been able to do different stuff.“I look at dart players and I think ‘How do they infuse themselves with it all year round?’ It’s amazing to me because I just can’t do that. “I’m just not that person to love darts all year round. I like to do other stuff. I’m probably a little bit on the wild side with certain stuff, but you’ve got to have that life balance, that’s key.“In regards to my mental health, I’m very lucky to have what I’ve got.”2026 PDC World Championship Odds and Offer2026 PDC World Darts Championship Winner Odds:Luke Littler – 5/6Luke Humphries – 4/1Gian van Veen – 12/1Gerwyn Price – 14/1Josh Rock – 14/1Michael van Gerwen – 20/1Nathan Aspinall – 35/1Stephen Bunting – 40/1Visit talkSPORT BET for all PDC Darts World Championship oddsSign up to talkSPORT BET and get £40 in free bets when you bet £10 on the action at the Darts – CLAIM HERETerms: 18+ New Customers.
