A winter storm swept across Michigan on Thursday night, resulting in snow and freezing rain to the Lower Peninsula and western Upper Peninsula. Over 30,000 electricity customers lost power on Friday, with Mecosta, Clare, Isabella, and Oakland counties among the most severely impacted.
