normalnormalnormal The Dev Samaj College of Education, Sec 36, organised its Annual Prize Distribution Function for the academic session 2025–26 with great enthusiasm, highlighting both academic excellence and remarkable student achievements. A key highlight of the function was the outstanding performance of students in competitive examinations, reflecting the institution’s commitment to quality education.Around 80 Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) students successfully cleared national and state-level eligibility tests, including the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test (PTET), and Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET). In addition, 10 students qualified for the prestigious University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET), marking a significant academic accomplishment for the institution.The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Prof. Jatinder Grover, Chairperson, Department of Education, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The event was presided over by Prof. Agnese Dhillon, Secretary, Dev Samaj and Chairman of the college. Other distinguished Guests of Honour included Prof. Kawalpreet Kaur from IETVE Department, Panjab University, and Sh. Maanvinder Singh Mangat, Secretary, College Management.The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Richa Sharma, Officiating Principal, who highlighted the institution’s achievements and applauded the students’ success in competitive examinations.In his address, Prof. Jatinder Grover motivated students to remain focused and dedicated to their goals. Prof. Agnese Dhillon emphasized the importance of values, ethics, and active participation in academic and co-curricular activities.A major highlight was the award ceremony, during which nearly 400 students were honoured for excellence in curricular and co-scholastic areas, along with recognition of distinguished alumni.
