Families in Malta could soon see a notable increase in financial support, as Prime Minister Robert Abela proposes a boost to in-work benefit payments in the next legislature.Under the proposal, families who already benefit from the scheme would receive at least €150 more per child. The increase is aimed at continuing to support working parents and easing the financial pressures linked to raising children.The plan also includes additional support for households where only one parent is employed.
