This morning I woke up to a "security alert" from Windows; it had flagged and removed two root security certificates as trojans.Problem: Root certificates are not executable therefore the claimed "threat" cannot be real as-described. Microsoft sent down a new "Defender" (the internal antivirus software) database and it apparently has bad signatures in it which caused the internal Windows scanner to false-flag these files.They are valid certificates, from what I can determine, and might, depending on where you connect on the Internet, prevent connections over https to any site which is certified.......(Click link to read more)
