RAJUIn an effort to rekindle the reading habit among children increasingly drawn to smartphones, the Vizag Children’s Club (VCC) has launched a book distribution initiative, ‘’Blooms with Books,'’ as part of its summer camp (May 1 to 15) at Alluri Seetharama Raju Vignana Kendram on Sunday. Through the initiative 5,000 books will be distributed across 100 centres in the district.Undertaken in collaboration with organisations such as Manchi Pustakam, Kakinada Engineering Alumni Trust for Service (KEATS), and Learn and Help, the programme looks to build reading habits among children aged between 5 and 14 enrolled in clubs and Creative Learning Centres across the district.
