US President Donald Trump praised the US Navy SEALs for killing al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, saying “history will never forget” their role in the 2011 operation in Pakistan. Speaking at an event in Norfolk, Virginia, marking the US Navy’s 250th anniversary, Trump also repeated his claim that he had warned about bin Laden a year before the 9/11 attacks.
