The start of a new week brings a brand-new and eagerly awaited software update for Galaxy A34 users. The mid-range phone has started getting the stable One UI 8.0 update in Europe. It was first released in South Korea last week and is now available for millions of other users.Galaxy A34 gets stable One UI 8 update in EuropeThe stable One UI 8.0 update, based on Android 16, is now available (via @tarunvats33) for the Galaxy A34 in several European countries, including Austria, Croatia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and the UK. It comes bearing firmware version A346BXXUBEYI7 and has a download size of around 2GB.If you’re a Galaxy A34 user in Europe, check for the new software update on your device. Open the Settings app, navigate to Software update > Download and install, and wait for the update file to download. Once it’s finished, tap the Install now button and wait for your phone to restart. The installation process may take a few minutes.The Galaxy A34 was launched in March 2023 with Android 13 onboard. It received the Android 14 update in late 2023 and the Android 15 update earlier this year. Now, it has received its third major software update. Sometime next year, it will get its last major Android OS update (Android 17).One UI 8 brings a redesigned Quick Share screen, a new design for Samsung Internet, and new actions for Modes and Routines. It has a new swipe action in the Camera app for showing and hiding options.
