From our very first conversation, it was clear they wanted a wedding that felt like a fairytale yet intimate and personal.Their love for Italy made it the obvious choice, but finding the perfect venue—one that blended history, charm, and exclusivity—took time. With less than six months to plan, we had to move swiftly. Every detail, from securing the stunning Rocca Cilento Castle to curating a Michelin-starred dining experience, was meticulously coordinated. Our team worked across multiple time zones, designing mood boards, managing logistics, and organising international guest travel.Amy and Ed wanted every moment to feel personal. We ensured their story was reflected in every aspect—from a private motorboat welcome party along the Amalfi Coast to a parade featuring local flag bearers at the ceremony. It was a wedding that beautifully merged grandeur with warmth, and we were honoured to bring it to life. As soon as Amy and Ed walked through the gates of Rocca Cilento Castle, we saw it in their eyes—they had found their dream location. As soon as Amy and Ed walked through the gates of Rocca Cilento Castle, we saw it in their eyes—they had found their dream location. That instant connection was something truly special.Story continues below this adAnother unforgettable moment was the final rehearsal at sunset. The golden light over the Amalfi Coast, the musicians preparing for the ceremony, and the couple standing hand in hand—it felt like a scene from a romantic film.A challenge that turned into a beautiful memory was the unexpected rain on the wedding day. Instead of letting it dampen the mood, Amy and Ed embraced the moment, sharing a heartfelt exchange under the drizzle before the ceremony. It was raw, emotional, and perfectly imperfect—one of those moments that will be remembered forever.Q: How do you approach planning the perfect wedding for a couple?Reshma & Costanza: Our process starts with an in-depth consultation where we get to know the couple—their vision, style, and budget. From there, we create a customised plan covering venue selection, vendor curation, and timeline management. We ensure every element aligns perfectly, handling contracts, budgets, and keeping the couple updated at every step.As the big day approaches, we finalise confirmations and make any necessary last-minute adjustments. On the wedding day, we’re behind the scenes, making sure everything runs smoothly so the couple can simply relax and enjoy every moment. What are the best locations?Reshma: India is one of the most sought-after destination wedding markets, offering a perfect mix of rich culture, stunning landscapes, and world-class hospitality. Some of the best locations include:Story continues below this adRajasthan (Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur) – For regal palace weddingsGoa & Kerala – For serene beachfront celebrationsUttarakhand – For luxury mountain resortsMumbai & Delhi – For a mix of heritage and modern luxuryHyderabad & Kolkata – For old-world charm and heritage venuesEach destination brings its own unique character, making India a top choice for lavish, culturally-rich weddings.Q: What if you have a great idea, but the bride doesn’t agree with you?Costanza: Weddings are all about collaboration, not convincing. If a bride isn’t on board with an idea, we take a step back and really listen to her reasoning. It’s her day, and our job is to bring her vision to life, not push our own. That said, if we truly believe our idea could enhance the experience, we’d try to show her instead of just telling her. This could be achieved through moodboards, past examples, or by tweaking the idea to better fit her style. If she still doesn’t feel it, we will respect her choice and find a creative alternative that works for her. Our approach is to balance and diplomatically handle these situations. If the advice is helpful, we’ll incorporate it. But if it starts conflicting with the couple’s vision, we might say: “That’s a great suggestion! Let us check in with the bride and see how she feels about it.” This keeps things respectful while ensuring that final decisions rest with the couple.Q: What’s one major wedding trend you’re seeing right now?Reshma & Costanza: Drapery as a design element is huge right now. From ceiling installations to mandap canopies and entrance drapery, fabric is transforming venues into elegant, intimate spaces. We’re experimenting with layered textures, sheer fabrics, bold colours and materials like velvet, silk, chiffon, and organza. Whether it’s a regal, grand look or a soft, ethereal feel, drapery is proving to be a versatile and timeless décor element in modern weddings.
