President Trump releases map of Israel’s planned Gaza redeployment, says Israel has agreed to immediate ceasefire as soon as Hamas signs on to the deal.By David Rosenberg, World Israel NewsIsrael has agreed to withdraw IDF forces from much of the Gaza Strip as part of a ceasefire deal with Hamas, President Donald Trump announced on Saturday, adding that hostilities in the coastal enclave could end immediately should Hamas agree to the US proposal.In a post to his Truth Social account, Trump said that Israel has agreed to redeploy its forces in Gaza to a line set with the US in talks, should Hamas accept the deal put forth by the White House.Trump released a map of the preliminary withdrawal lines, which would see IDF forces pulling back from Gaza City and most of the coast, creating territorial contiguity from Beit Layha in the northern Strip through Khan Yunis in the south.The map includes modifications to the conceptual map released by the White House during Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit last Monday.Proposed IDF withdrawal lines. (Truth Social)“After negotiations, Israel has agreed to the initial withdrawal line, which we have shown to, and shared with, Hamas,” Trump wrote.Should Hamas accept the deal without reservation, Trump continued, the proposed truce would take effect “immediately,” with Hamas returning the 48 remaining Israeli hostages shortly thereafter. In exchange Israel has committed to release hundreds of Arab terrorists currently serving life sentences for their roles in deadly attacks on Israelis.“When Hamas confirms, the Ceasefire will be IMMEDIATELY effective, the Hostages and Prisoner Exchange will begin, and we will create the conditions for the next phase of withdrawal, which will bring us close to the end of this 3,000 YEAR CATASTROPHE. Thank you for your attention to this matter and, STAY TUNED!”Earlier on Saturday, Trump warned that “Hamas must move quickly, or else all bets are off.
