Brooklyn Earick has no intention of making a bid to buy Tottenham.The American entrepreneur and Ibiza DJ had reportedly shown interest in a potential takeover.DJ and entrepreneur Earick will not be launching a bid to buy TottenhamInstagram @brooklynearickEarick was said to be attached to a US consortium, with claims the group had even tabled an offer.However, a statement from the Stock Exchange has now confirmed he will not be pursuing a takeover of the Premier League giants.It follows Spurs’ current owners ENIC declaring that the club was not for sale despite Daniel Levy’s exit.The Stock Exchange statement read: “Further to the announcement made by the Board of Tottenham Hotspur Limited on 26 September 2025, Mr Brooklyn Earick confirms that he does not intend to make a firm offer for the company.“Accordingly, Mr Brooklyn Earick and any person(s) currently acting in concert with him will, except with the consent of the Takeover Panel, be bound by the restrictions set out in Rule 2.8 of the Code.”Are Tottenham for sale?Tottenham parted ways with their long-serving chairman last month following almost 25 years in the role, sparking rumours of a subsequent change of ownership.He had been appointed following ENIC’s purchase of the club from Alan Sugar in 2001.However, the current owners have reiterated their stance on selling Spurs in the weeks following his exit.A club statement released last month said: “The Board of the Club and ENIC reconfirm that Tottenham Hotspur is not for sale and ENIC is not looking to sell its stake in the Club.”During ENIC’s ownership, Spurs have won the League Cup and Europa League as well as moving into their current £1billion stadium.The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which has a capacity of 62,850, was opened in 2019.Meanwhile, this season represents Spurs’ eighth in the Champions League or European Cup, with seven of those coming since ENIC’s takeover.Who is Brooklyn Earick?Prospective Spurs owner Earick’s career has seen him work for NASA and DJ around the world.It is in the world of technology where he has founded a pair of successful businesses, Redacted RnD and Algorith Capital.The former is described as ‘a leader in blockchain innovation and digital assets’ whilst Algorith Capital is a tech-based investment fund.More to follow.
