Marjorie Taylor Greene out to decode Donald Trump’s ‘mental state’ and Iran strike since he thinks he won’t be going to heaven

All eyes are on Tehran. An Iranian war has long been teased and threatened by both the leadership structure within Iran and multiple leaders in the US and Israel. For tactical reasons, these tensions have always ended in begrudgingly peaceful deals. On Feb. 28, 2026, Donald Trump decided it was time to finally try out war, and former ally Marjorie Taylor Greene has subsequently stated that she is so stunned she is concerned about Trump’s “mental state.” Trump has broken many promises, but the one about war has seemingly stung his base the most. And a war with Iran, no less, is bar none the most complex one he could possibly choose to engage in. There are many opinion pieces with very few facts about what is actually happening on the ground and why so many world leaders are concerned about this war. So here’s a little breakdown: Trump’s story about why he saw this as the time to finally take out the leadership of Iran is still evolving. But the vacuum that has been created is a severely enraged regime that can build missiles at a relatively quick rate, with a decentralized power structure that is paranoid and attacking its neighboring Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. For Iran, the goal is to destabilize the region to the extent that the only way US troops can access them is through ground operations. That would obviously lead to more American deaths, and they could also cause prices to skyrocket by blocking a vital crude oil route in the region called the Strait of Hormuz. So if you’re concerned that the cost of living is unbearable — if this war wears on, it’s about to get worse. And if things do not get worse and this war is resolved before more nations are dragged in, experts are hoping the two countries make another Iran nuclear deal that closely mirrors the Barack Obama one that Trump struck down. So the literal best-case scenario is going right back to where Trump took over. But considering Trump struck Iran’s leadership during negotiations, Iranian leadership won’t be quick to trust them. Former ally Marjorie Taylor Greene knows all of this. Everyone in Washington does. Greene appeared on Megyn Kelly’s podcast to share one of her infamous conspiracy theories about why Trump is doing this. According to The Hill, Greene said, “Well, I want to ask a question, a serious question: What is in his mind? What is his mental state if he doesn’t think he’s going to heaven, and he is a man toward the end — he’s in the fourth quarter — he’s toward the end of his life.” There have been multiple people concerned about Trump’s health and whether that is causing him to miscalculate the dire situation he has just started in a very sensitive region of the world. The Trump administration keeps making promises that this will be over in no time, and they say they can’t explain how because that would make their campaign vulnerable due to predictability. The Iranian situation is getting worse by the day, and it’s not comforting to the public when the people who used to be closest to Trump are going as far as questioning his sanity only four days into this.
