Last weekend, Bungie held an open beta for its long-awaited live-service extraction shooter, Marathon. Known as the Marathon Server Slam, the beta test armed Bungie with valuable player data containing useful info that can be used to improve the game, but some of it is downright hilarious. Case in point: During the open beta, Marathon players extracted 384,866 drinkable cheeseburgers, as revealed by a recent X post in which Bungie shared various stats from the Server Slam.Known as the NuCaloric Drinkable Cheeseburger, this unappetizing fictional food can't actually be consumed in-game. But so far, the Drinkable Cheeseburger seems to be holding onto its title as the most-extracted food item in the game, likely due in part to its comical design--this extremely cursed fast-food item is described in-game as, "Drinkable, shareable, shelf-stable!" It comes in a plastic tub similar to one you might find full of cream cheese or yogurt at your local grocery store. The container has two straws sticking out of its lid, with one labeled, "Mouth," and the other labeled, "Friend mouth," implying the liquified burger is meant to be shared with a buddy.Continue Reading at GameSpot
