Foreign Affairs Minister Ian Borg said arrangements are underway to bring Maltese nationals stranded in the United Arab Emirates back to Malta.In a video shared to his Facebook, Borg said the government has confirmed the services of an airline that will help return the majority of Maltese who are currently in the UAE and wish to leave.“If everything goes as planned and we have reassurance that the journey can take place safely, the flight will depart in the coming days from Dubai Airport,” Borg said.He added that the Maltese Embassy will be contacting individuals who requested assistance directly.Borg also thanked colleagues at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Tourism in Malta, as well as staff at Malta’s embassies and consulates, for the support they are providing to Maltese citizens across the Gulf countries and the Middle East.What do you make of this?Video credits to @borg_ian View this post on Instagram A post shared by Lovin Malta (@lovinmalta)•
