That's not what they said. They said taking kids anywhere by plane (which is a weirdly arbitrary line to draw) is a waste of money because the kid won't remember it and is just as happy doing something not a distance by plane. Yeah obviously if you can't afford it you don't go and you're not entitled to someone paying for it. But the concept of taking a child somewhere being a waste because they 'dont remember ' is an asinine take.
