Malta Public Transport is ramping up its services ahead of Malta’s crucial Nations League promotion play-off against Luxembourg, offering fans a smoother and more convenient way to get to Ta’ Qali.The match, set to take place on Thursday 26th March at the National Stadium in Ta’ Qali National Stadium, is expected to draw large crowds, and transport authorities are planning accordingly.A number of extra trips will run on key routes from areas including Valletta, Bugibba, Sliema and the University, with additional departures scheduled throughout the afternoon to accommodate fans heading to the game. At the same time, direct bus services will operate from Valletta, Żurrieq and Paola straight to Ta’ Qali, providing a more straightforward option for supporters travelling from different parts of the island.Malta Public Transport has also confirmed that all Tallinja Card holders will be able to travel free of charge on both regular and special services on the day. Those without a card will still be able to purchase a ticket on board for €2.Once the match concludes, buses will be stationed close to the stadium and will begin departing back to various localities including Valletta, Sliema, St Paul’s Bay, Żurrieq and Paola, depending on demand.
