Karmena Abdilla is back, and this time, she’s heading on honeymoon.The Don Bosco Oratory in Gozo is set to stage Il-Honeymoon ta’ Karmena Abdilla on the 25th and 26th April, bringing back one of Malta’s most beloved comedic characters for a brand-new adventure.Following the success of It-Tieġ ta’ Karmena Abdilla two years ago, this sequel sees Karmena and her husband Paċifku navigate married life, starting with their honeymoon, where plenty of chaos is expected to unfold.The production is once again being led by a team of young performers from the Oratory, under the direction of Matthias Mercieca.Maria Cassar and Karl J. Buhagiar reprise their roles as Karmena and Paċifku, joined by Jamie Camilleri as Uncle Fred, George Sacco as Ninu and Lara Xerri Mompalao as Perpetwa.Director Matthias Mercieca described the play as a “unique production” that blends established and emerging local talent, promising a fun and entertaining theatrical experience for audiences of all ages.“The show is full of comedic scenes and moments that portray the storyline in a light and enjoyable way,” he said, adding that audiences can also expect a few surprises along the way.The performances will take place at the Don Bosco Oratory Theatre in Victoria, Gozo, with shows scheduled for:25th April at 7.30pm26th April at 6pmTickets start from €15 and can be booked online, or purchased directly from the booking office from mid-March.Share with someone who would be interested!•
