Nine houses in Himachal Pradesh's Mandi district were evacuated Sunday after a massive landslide, triggered by three days of intermittent rain, damaged a cow shed and left debris precariously perched. Officials issued the evacuation order for the Ropdu village houses due to the immediate threat. Meanwhile, a yellow warning for thunderstorms and gusty winds has been issued for several districts.
