Lumonya launched the ‘City to Safari’ initiative at Entebbe International Airport this week.The initiative aims to boost domestic aviation, tourism, and trade by improving connectivity and reducing travel time to Uganda’s top attractions, making it easier for both local and international travelers to explore the country.“The success of the ‘City to Safari’ initiative cannot be achieved by one institution alone. It requires collaboration, partnership, and shared commitment from all stakeholders to meet the desired goals,” she said.With strong support from government ministries, aviation stakeholders, and the private sector, the focus now shifts to implementation. As Uganda Tourism Board CEO, Ms. Juliana Kagwa noted at the meeting, “the conversation was timely, and the initiative needs to be moved to execution and implementation.”The meeting was attended by key stakeholders from Ministry of Works and Transport, Ministry of Local Government, Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, domestic airline operators, fuel suppliers, Uganda Tourism Board, Uganda Investment Authority, Free Zones Authority, Uganda Chamber of Commerce, private sector, tour and travel operators and UCAA management team, among others.The post UCAA Unveils Initiative To Drive Growth In Domestic Aviation & Tourism appeared first on Business Focus.
