Planes at Entebbe AirportThe Uganda Civil Aviation Authority’s Ag. Director General, Ms. Olive B. Lumonya launched the ‘City to Safari’ initiative at Entebbe International Airport this week.The initiative aims to boost domestic aviation, tourism, and trade by improving connectivity and reducing travel time to Uganda’s top attractions, making it easier for both local and international travelers to explore the country.“The success of the ‘City to Safari’ initiative cannot be achieved by one institution alone. It requires collaboration, partnership, and shared commitment from all stakeholders to meet the desired goals,” she said.With strong support from government ministries, aviation stakeholders, and the private sector, the focus now shifts to implementation.
