The BJP has announced another candidate for the Puducherry Assembly elections. This follows a seat-sharing agreement between the AINRC and BJP-AIADMK combine. The AINRC will contest 16 seats, and the BJP will contest the remaining 14. Polling for the 30 seats is scheduled for April 9. Results will be declared on May 4.
