One UI 8.5 has brought several new Galaxy AI features to compatible devices, and transformed many existing features as well. Photo Assist is one of them. Samsung has made significant improvements to Photo Assist with One UI 8.5. It's worth watching the video our friends over at SamMobile TV have put up as it goes into considerable detail on everything that you can do with the feature.Photo Assist is a suite of different functions such as AI eraser and move, which lets you erase, move, and resize people and objects in photos while using AI to fill in the background. Create and style provide additional creative capabilities. You can go in the Settings menu for Photo Assist and enable the toggle which will process all data for AI eraser and move on the device itself.Photo Assist is easily accessible through the Gallery app. Just fire it up and select whichever photo you want to edit. Tap on the AI removal tool at the bottom to bring up four options, AI eraser, Move, Style, and Create. As you can see in the video, all of the features work as advertised, and Samsung has also added edit history with One UI 8.5. You can go through the edit history to restore or reverse any changes made to the image. All this, and a lot more about this revamped feature, has been explained in the full video so do check it out below.
