Life comes at you fast, but particularly so for Trump voters. When Donald Trump was inaugurated in 2025, they had every right to be upbeat. It was finally time to Make America Great Again… Again! Smash cut to the present, and America is further away from greatness than ever. Masked goons patrol the streets murdering innocent Americans, consumer prices remain sky high, America’s international reputation is in the toilet, and the “No New Wars” president is setting the Middle East on fire. For many, the wool is finally falling from their eyes, particularly after they’ve been hit in the wallet by gas prices. But one Pennsylvania Trump voter is going viral after she didn’t hold back in an interview with NBC News. That was my bad. Apparently, I’m an idiot.” Well, frankly, I’m not about to criticize someone for (finally) seeing the light. But, well, if you believed the words of arguably the most notorious liar currently walking the face of the planet on three distinct occasions, that is kind of on you. She finally got there! With the November midterms looming, this sentiment is likely to spread, and former hardcore fans will suddenly become very quiet over what they did and said during the 2024 election. After all, the polls don’t look great for Trump right now, and few want to support an obvious loser. However, it should be underlined that just because someone has renounced their support of Trump, that doesn’t mean they’ve magically transformed into a Democrat. It’s more likely that they’ll either remain at home on voting day or give their vote to a third-party or single-issue candidate. And when Trump is finally gone, you can bet they’ll be right back at the Republican Party rallies whooping and hollering at the next incompetent, lying and evil lunatic the party puts up for election. But for now, take comfort in the fact that Trump’s base is rapidly eroding under his feet. It seems that, even for MAGA, there are limits to the humiliation they’ll put up with.
