Yeah, I grew up in upstate New York and people would do each other's driveways and sidewalks all the time. If you were old or disabled, you generally didn't even have to ask. My dad is one of the most miserable, unpleasant people I know and even he would plow our elderly neighbors driveways without being asked. It's just an expectation there. You have to really piss your neighbors off for them to not plow your drive.
