I’ve finally sorted a decent 4K setup with an Apple TV, but the cost of actually getting a UHD stream in this country is depressing.😩 Between Sky Sports, TNT for the early kick-offs, and then having to pay extra for "Ultra Boost" just to avoid a blurry 1080p image, you’re looking at best part of £70-80 a month. It’s a total rip-off. It’s madness that spent all this money on a 4K screen, yet fans abroad can watch the Reds in Ultra HD for a fraction of the price. I’m basically sitting here with a top-tier setup watching Match of the Day highlights because the live subs are like a second mortgage. Have we all just accepted that being a UK-based fan means getting the worst value for money in football? YNWA, but my wallet is done. submitted by /u/jokekll [link] [comments]
