Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) has a robust order book for 34 Dhruv, 180 LCA Tejas Mk-1A, and 156 Prachand attack helicopters. The company is actively producing and testing these aircraft. HAL is also restarting production for 12 Su-30 MKIs. The parliamentary panel noted variations in order book positions among defence public sector undertakings and encouraged modernization and foreign market ventures.
