The 98th Academy Awards, also known as The Oscars 2026, was a stunning night dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the biggest movies from 2025 and the incredible people who brought them to the big screen.One Battle After Another was the big winner of the night, taking home six awards, including Best Picture, Supporting Actor (Sean Penn), Director (Paul Thomas Anderson), Casting (Cassandra Kulukundis), Film Editing (Andy Jurgensen), and Adapted Screenplay.Sinners, who led the night with 16 nominations, took home four Oscars, including Best Actor (Michael B. Jordan), Cinematography (Autumn Durald Arkapaw), Original Score, and Original Screenplay.
