Private equity firms EQT and Partners Group, along with ITC Infotech, are exploring a controlling stake in Happiest Minds from founder Ashok Soota, who holds 44%. At a post-earnings press conference in February, when asked about stake sale plans, Soota said that the company was focused on its artificial intelligence project and that he remained “very much at the helm."
