/u/Onlyfangz on Maybe don't get a puppy if funds are limited?

Wait 5 sec.

When we thought our pup was going to need expensive and long term care we had the horrible conversation about finding her a home that can afford it all (we were lied to about her being insured for another year so we weren't planning on getting our own insurance for her until the old policy ran out except it never existed). We'd have hated to let her go but dogs deserve owners who can provide a high standard of care, I can't imagine getting one and not even being able to afford a crate. Thankfully Muffin just needed some probiotics and joint care that's fully covered by her new insurance that actually does exist.
