2025/26 Women’s FA Cup: Hasaacas Ladies beat Jonina to set up Army Ladies final

Hasaacas Ladies sealed a place in the final of the 2025/26 Women’s FA Cup final following a commanding 3–0 victory over Jonina Ladies. The two teams faced off in the semi-final of the competition at the Cape Coast Stadium on Saturday, March 21.The fixture got off to a great start as both sides looked to take control early. However, it was Hasaacas who claimed the lead. Milot Pokuaa broke the deadlock in the 6th minute of the game with a composed finish to give her side an early lead.Jonina Ladies, having conceded an early goal, tried to come back into the game with an immediate response as they pushed forward, but the Hasmal Ladies remained calm and resolute, keeping their goal at bay. Jonina Ladies came back from the break with more purpose and intent as they created loads of chances. However, Grace Banwaa was on course to deny them on several occasions. Just when it looked like the game was going to end 2-0, Hasaacas struck again. Sophia Bobie burst forward in the final third and spotted the run of substitute Mary Ndali, squaring the ball into the path of the striker. Ndali made no mistake from close range as she scored to wrap up the win. At the final whistle, it was Hasaacas Ladies who celebrated a deserved 3–0 win and advanced into the Women’s FA Cup final.They will now face Army Ladies in the final of the cup competition. The two teams are also competing for the league title in the Southern Zone.
