The NFL may be seeing multiple stars return to the field for the 2026 season. After his stellar performance at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, Tom Brady is just one of the names being tipped to make a stunning NFL return.Brady reminded fans he still has it with an impressive performance at the Fanatics Flag Football ClassicGettyBut another intriguing name has also the mix – Odell Beckham Jr.OBJ has been out of the league for the past two seasons, his most recent game coming in 2024 as a member of the Miami Dolphins. The 33-year-old wide receiver put on a show for fans as one of the participants in the flag football event, sending fans a reminder of what he can do when he made a ridiculous one-handed catch in the end zone off a pass from Joe Burrow.Speaking with NFL Insider Kay Adamsafter the event, Beckham Jr. admitted he was pleased with his performance, and hopes it can be a gateway back into the NFL.“Looking forward to hopefully getting the opportunity to play this year, and this is kind of just the starting point,” Beckham Jr. told Adams.“If that opportunity presents itself, I would love to do that, and be excited about that.”Adams then asked whether OBJ would consider going back to the New York Giants, to pair with quarterback Jaxson Dart.“Weird that you said that,” Beckham added.“That sounds great. If that opportunity presents itself, I would love to do that. Be excited about that. He’s young, he likes to dance, I like all that.”Beckham Jr. started his career with the Giants, which was the team he made a name for himself from 2014-18, recording multiple 1,000 receiving-yard seasons.Beckham Jr. turned heads with his performance at the flag football event causing speculation over whether he could return to the league in 2026GettyBeckham Jr. would like the opportunity to return to New York to join forces with Jaxson DartGettyHe would then go on to have short stints with the Los Angeles Rams, Baltimore Ravens and the Dolphins – who mutually agreed to part ways with him in the middle of the 2024 season. If Beckham Jr. were to return to New York, he would be joining a franchise at the beginning of a new era, spearheaded by Dart.Dart showed real promise during his rookie season, giving the Giants reason to believe he can be their long-term solution at quarterback. He completed 63.7 percent of his passes for 2,272 yards and 15 touchdowns during his rookie season, while also being effective on the ground, adding an additional 487 rushing yards and nine touchdowns. The Giants moved on from its previous coaching staff earlier this year, bringing in John Harbaugh to lead the next phase of their rebuild, and Dart is at the center of that plan.New York are believed to be in the market for another wide receiver after Wan’Dale Robinson signed with the Tennessee Titans in free agency.Dart is the center of the plans for the Giants as they enter a new eraGettyIt’s still unclear whether conversations have been had with Beckham Jr., or if any team is interested in acquiring his services, but the interest from his side is certainly there.OBJ wants another shot in the league, and if the opportunity presents itself, a return to the franchise where he first made a name for himself is something he would evidently embrace.Stay up to date with the latest from the NFL across all platforms – follow our dedicated talkSPORT USA Facebook page and subscribe to our talkSPORT USA YouTube channel for all the news, exclusives, interviews and more.
