But I don’t think there’s any more to it than that right now.“It does seem that Robertson and Liverpool are willing to make a decision at the end of the season, and they won’t rush into anything. It’ll be Robertson’s decision what he wants to do. At this stage of his career, he still probably want to play at the highest level possible.“I’m sure there’ll be rival Premier League interest in Robeson’s signature if he does become a free agent and I think there’ll be interest from abroad as well.“He’s had interest from Tottenham of course and Atletico Madrid as well last summer. So I think it’ll be a difficult deal to do for Celtic at this stage, I’m not sure it’s something he will be entirely keen on if other clubs come calling.”Spurs may not be able to sign Robertson on a free this summerWhile the former Hull man’s contract at Liverpool does run out in a few months, there is no guarantee that he would be available on a free. Some sources have suggested that Liverpool are considering offering the Spurs target a new contract. It has been claimed that if a short-term extension is signed, Tottenham may have to pay a modest £5m to land Robertson in the summer.READ MORE: Tottenham could welcome back five key players for Nottingham Forest six-pointerThe post Tottenham will enjoy the latest Andy Robertson transfer update, but Celtic may not be thrilled appeared first on Spurs Web.
