The earthquake hit in the evening on Saturday, March 21st, 2026, at 8:48 pm local time at a very shallow depth of 7.20 km. Magnitude and other quake parameters can still change in the coming hours as the agency continues to process seismic data.A second report was later issued by the citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake, which listed it as a magnitude 2.7 earthquake.
