BTC: If You’re Buying Here, Read This FirstBitcoin all time history indexINDEX:BTCUSDProcessAndIntercept Following up on my previous BTC analysis, where a higher timeframe bearish bias was outlined, this post focuses on the internal structure. After the move into the demand zone, price created a bearish CHOCH+. This is not just a simple break of structure. It represents a shift in control. Buyers lose strength, and sellers begin to take over. On the higher timeframe, demand may still look attractive. But when we zoom in, the internal structure tells a different story. So what is a CHOCH+ in this context? A CHOCH (Change of Character) signals a potential shift in direction. A CHOCH+ confirms it through strong momentum and follow-through. In this case: 1. Price breaks structure aggressively. 2. Momentum continues to the downside. 3. Internal structure starts forming lower highs and lower lows. This shifts the expectation from buying dips to selling rallies. Instead of viewing demand as support, it becomes a potential area of weakness. That is where many traders get trapped. They see demand. But ignore structure. Let’s look at a few examples where this internal shift leads to continuation. Example 1 — Bearish CHOCH+ followed by a lower high, confirming seller control and continuation. Example 2 — Momentum into demand followed by a weak pullback, turning resistance into continuation. Example 3 — CHOCH+ formed after a liquidity sweep into equilibrium, resulting in a deeper retracement before continuation. Higher timeframe gives direction. Internal structure gives confirmation.
