Hundreds of supporters of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni were lifted in high spirits today as renowned gospel preacher and worship leader, Pastor Herbert Twina, led a powerful praise and worship session at a gathering in Kololo Independence Grounds.The event, organized to celebrate President Museveni’s official nomination for a seventh term as the National Resistance Movement (NRM) flag bearer in the upcoming 2026 elections, turned into a spiritual celebration as Pastor Twina took to the stage.With hands raised and hearts open, the crowd joined in song and prayer, as Twina delivered a soul-stirring performance featuring popular gospel anthems and original worship dubbed Sabisanira. The atmosphere was electric blending faith, politics, and patriotism in a uniquely Ugandan display of unity.He called on Christians to continue praying for peace, stability, and visionary leadership in the country.He is one of the over 20 musicians that performed during president Museveni’s nomination rally.
