Parts of Hyderabad receive light showers on Sunday night

Hyderabad remained under overcast skies on Sunday night as several parts of the city received light showers.. The brief spell of rain caused no major traffic disruptions, with the weekend ensuring relatively free-flowing roads.According to data from Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS), as of 9 p.m., Mehdipatnam recorded a rainfall of 10.8 mm followed by 8.5 mm in Asifnagar, 8.3 mm Langar Houz, 7.8 mm in Khairatabad, 7.8 mm in Moula Ali, 6.5 mm in Begumpet, 6 mm in Mettuguda, 5.5 mm in Secunderabad and 5.5 mm in Goshamahal.Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm forecast in all 33 districts of the State for Monday, September 29. Hyderabad and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see a generally cloudy sky. “Light rain or drizzle accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in parts of the city. Mist or hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during morning and night hours.
