The event, now in its fourth edition, featured over 1,700 exhibitors, 500 international buyers, and delegates from more than 100 countries.“Himachal’s vision is to integrate innovation with tradition, ensuring farmers prosper while delivering world-class produce,” said Director of Horticulture Vinay Singh, who led the state delegation. He was accompanied by senior officers and progressive farmers from Shimla district, who gained exposure to international branding and packaging standards.The pavilion drew special attention for its value-added products. Start-ups and entrepreneurs presented unique innovations, including Blueberry Crush and Seabuckthorn Shots (Jungle Harvest, Una), patented Guchhi Tea and Red Rice Tea (Nature Urja, Rohru), speciality honeys and bee-wax candles (PBEE Farm, Rohru), and sustainable lemongrass oil models from Kangra. Cordyceps cultivation by VertiBoom, one of the world’s most expensive mushrooms, also caught international interest.With APEDA’s support, the Himachal delegation held high-level interactions with international buyers, including Roycr Foods (Canada), Lulu Group and Healthy Food Mard (Cambodia).
