Samsung’s latest flagship smartphones with foldable displays, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7, bring massive improvements over their predecessors, which have made them arguably the best devices in their segments. With that, these devices were an instant hit and broke many sales records. Now, Samsung has shared new sales figures about the two phones, which show that their popularity is on a steady rise.In a press release, Samsung says that currently, the sales of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in the US exceed those of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 by 50%. The brand launched the Galaxy Z Fold 7 on 9 July 2025, which means it has been two months and twenty-one days since its launch. We assume that when the brand talks about selling 50% more units, it is talking about the sales in the same time period and not overall sales.30% of Galaxy Z Fold 7 customers upgraded from Galaxy S Ultra phonesSamsung also says that 30% of Galaxy Z Fold 7 users came from Galaxy S Ultra series smartphones, which suggests multiple things. First, many people using bar-type flagship phones are not very keen on sticking with the same type of device. Second, people using these phones are looking for devices that offer even more.Recently, we learned that Samsung had planned to manufacture 320,000 and 200,000 units of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in August and September, respectively. However, witnessing a higher demand, the brand had to produce 430,000 units of the phone in August and planned to make 260,000 units of the device this month. The post Galaxy Z Fold 7 sales still going strong in the US appeared first on SamMobile.
