Musi river floods Hyderabad’s MGBS; bus services suspended, alternative pickup points announced

Given the heavy rains and flooding in the Musi River, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has suspended all services to and from the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) in Hyderabad after floodwater entered its complex on Friday (September 26, 2025) night.TGSRTC Vice Chairman and Managing Director, V.C. Sajjanar, said that buses scheduled to start on trips from MGBS are now being operated from alternative locations in the city. Services to Suryapet, Nalgonda and Vijayawada are running from LB Nagar, while those to Mahbubnagar, Kurnool and Bengaluru are being operated from Aramghar.
