According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film has made Rs 104 crore in two days. Preview screenings definitely helped the film get off to a great start, but the film witnessed a sharp decline in numbers as it moved from the first to the second day.On the second day, the Sujeeth directorial earned a net amount of Rs 19.25 crore. While this might sound like a lot, it is certainly a sharp fall from the Rs 63.75 crore that the film made on its opening day. The film also had preview shows a day before the release where it made Rs 21 crore.Produced by D V V Danayya, They Call Him OG has over 2,600 shows in Telugu, while the total number shows, across all languages goes up to around 5,000. While the number is big enough to generate a lot of excitement, it is yet to be seen if the film can sustain the hype that it generated on the day of the release. The morning and afternoon shows achieved occupancy rates of 32.6% and 38.42%, while the evening and night shows witnessed around 43.45% and 51.79% occupancy. Pawan Kalyan’s last release was Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which made Rs 87.19 crore in India, and grossed Rs 116.82 crore worldwide. They Call Him OG has crossed these numbers already.Directed by Sujeeth, the film follows the story of a retired gangster who comes out of exile to seek revenge from rival gang leaders.
