Candidates aspiring for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professorship, or admission to PhD programmes in science fields can now apply through the official website – csirnet.nta.nic.in.The application window will remain open until October 24, while the last date to pay the application fee is October 25. The test will be of 180 minutes duration and held in two shifts on the same day.The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) is conducted twice a year to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as Assistant Professor, admission to PhD programmes.The exam evaluates candidates in subjects across science, engineering, and technology, including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and Geology.Who is eligible for the exam?Candidates applying for CSIR UGC NET must hold a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks. Those appearing in their final year of postgraduate studies are also eligible.
